Tanto el pan de jamon, como la hallaca y el panetton comparten un origen comùn: Son confeccionados apartir de sobras de comida.

Lamentablemente estos platos navideños se han convertido en un lujo por su alto costo, colocandolos en un riesgo de extinciòn.

Con respecto a una de las teorías, en particular la que atribuye la autoría de la receta al Sr. Gustavo Ramella, te digo, que no se si fue ese señor quien inventó el pan de jamón, lo que si te digo es que donde tu fuente ubica la panadería es en un lugar que NO EXISTE. Gradillas no hace cuadra con Solís. O bien describe un espacio geográfico que comprende 5 esquinas (Gradillas, Monjas, Padre Sierra, Muñoz y Solis). Del Resto, excelente artículo.

Me he entretenido mucho con cada uno de los aportes acerca de las teorías sobre el origen de este plato tan delicioso y criollo, que ahora es como tipo “gourmet” por lo caro que lo venden cada año jeje.
Sólo diría al sr. Juan M. que no es que aquí le vayan a caer encima a la gente por dar su opinión sobre estas teorías. Al contrario, es muy enriquecedor escuchar (o leer) diversas versiones. Creo que el problema surge cuando alguien toma actitudes soberbias y al final no llega a nada, cosa que no ocurre en la acertada intervención suya. De todos modos ese tipo de comentarios es mejor ignorarlos para no desvirtuar el sentido de estas páginas.
Sigamos recordando lo nuestro.
