El próximo 23 y 24 de septiembre en Paris se va a celebrar el campeonato europeo del cubo de Rubik o cubo mágico. Quien no haya tenido un juguete como este en su infancia era alguien sin amigos o que jamás lleno un albúm de barajitas.
Volviendo a la noticia del campeonato, les participo a los interesados que el torneo tiene varias categorías, sobre todo la resolución de un cubo de Rubik de 20 cuadrados por cara. Los más virtuosos se medirán con los ojos vendados con las caras del cubo en relieve.
Los candidatos al título intentarán hacer también cubos de Rubik con los dedos de los pies. (algo sencillo verdad). Francia estará representada por un instituto de rama científica, Thibaut Jacquinot, de 16 años, campeón de Francia 2006 con un tiempo récord de 15 segundos y 38 centésimas.
Cuando este juguete estuvo de moda en los ochenta no conocí a nadie que pudiera armar más de 2 colores al mismo tiempo. En la actualidad gracias a internet existen páginas que te dicen paso a paso como armar todos los colores del cubo. Aún siguiendo estos pasos es tremendamente difícil.
Lo que no puedo creer es como un ser humano puede resolver un cubo mágico en 15 segundos, es algo digno de ver. Para los que no vamos a París a ver este magno evento les recomiendo que vean este video y le tomen el tiempo al chino que arma este cubo mágico. !Qué verdugo!
Yo que me habia convencido de que armar el cubo era cosas de superdotados!!!!,:???:: durante dos años estuve con el dichoso cubo en la mano para apena llegar a armar dos lados y medio!!!!

Lo vi de lejos, no me gustaba, prefiero el Ajedrez. ConocÍ amigos que lo armaban en 15 minutos, fué la propia FIEBRE y nada más allá, en Venezuela, ahora los muy pocos que tenían las condiciones dadas y le siguieron el ritmo de competencia, oficialmente hablando, tuvieron que emigrar a otras partes fuera del país.
