A principios de los ochenta la revista Kalkitos era la mejor forma de crearnos nuestras historias. Todas las semanas antes de ir al colegio le pedía a mi mamá que me comprará la nueva historieta de Kalkitos.

Cuando buscaba información de kalkitos ya no me acordaba como se escribía. Probé con calquitos, calkitos y finalmente conseguí información con kalkitos. Los Kalkitos venían en un formato de revista y se componía de un fondo o escenario alargado, de una hoja con los dibujos adhesivos que debíamos calcar sobre la cartulina del escenario y de una lámina de papel celofan que nos servía para calcar mejor el dibujo adhesivo. Nosotros sólo teníamos que poner un lápiz y nuestra imaginación para decidir donde colocar los personajes dentro de la historia.

Kalktios fue creado por la multinacional Guillette en su División de Papelería en el año 1979. En Venezuela lo distribuía bajo la marca de Papermate. Según mi memoria en Venezuela se jugó con esta revista a principios de los ochenta.

Kalkitos traía las instrucciones de cómo calcar los personajes en la historia. Apoyabas el calco sobre el fondo, raspabas encima y te quedaba el calco como parte de la imagen. El secreto era raspar bien para que los personajes no te quedaran sin una pierna o sin un brazo.

Cada Kalkitos aludía a una historia diferente. Muchos Kalkitos aludían a grandes batallas (guerras mundiales, guerras de romanos, guerras del futuro, batallas tipo napoleóncias). Otros kalkitos aludían a personajes de los dibujos animados. No recuerdo todos los títulos de Kalkitos. He realizado un recopilación de lo que he encontrado en internet y estos son algunos de los títulos con los que me tope: La batalla de montecassino, El caballo de troya, el bosque loco, los picapiedras, el oso yogui, el imperio romano, buck rogers, la ciudad del futuro, la huella del hombre, lucha interplanetaria, veinte mil leguas de viaje submarino, sandokan, ataque a la diligencia.

Recuerdo que muchos de nosotros solíamos calcar los personajes de distintas historias de kalkitos en nuestros cuadernos y libros del colegio. Tambíen se pegaban en las loncheras, termos, cartucheras. Kalkitos sin duda alguna formó parte de nuestra lista de útiles del colegio cuando eramos chamos.

    Muy bueno Javier, por cierto está en mi blog también gracias a ti. Por cierto para que tengas nuevos materiales porque yo no me acuerdo.
    En esa misma época había unos experimentos que salían en televisión y eran también por kits. El que más recuerdo era el magnetico que traía un carrito de metal y debías pasearlo por un camino. Otro eran los imanes que metias en tubos de ensayo y quedaban flotando por la polaridad… a ver si te acuerdas… Saludos Javier.

    Me acuerdo de los Kalkitos, pero nunca me compraron uno pues eran muy caros para el presupuesto de mis antojos, la verdad nunca me quitó el sueño, preferia mil veces los Tatu, esos si los añoro, si haces un especial de ellos, te pongo hasta la letra del comercial que me lo se de memoria.     Casi se me salen las lágrimas!…, esto fue una regresión tipo pelicula, me vi a mi misma inmediatamente con mi camisita roja del kinder pasando los kalkitos a la revista. De la misma época recuerdo las «sorpresitas», esos tubitos de cartón forrados en papel de seda que tenian unas pepitas de caramelo en varios colores, y unos vaqueros, caballos e indios diminutos. No se si eso existe aún.

    Tengo todavia unos cuantos Kalkitos guardados de aquella época, recuerdo que uno trataba de encontrar el lugar justo en el carton para que quedaran bien.

    También uno lo pegaba en los cuadernos del colegio jajajjaja
    Creo que existian otros parecidos pero de otra marca, los recuerdan?

Por alla por 1982 cuando tenia 5 años y estaba en kinder, cuando despertaba (despues de dormir en las tardes) en la almohada de la esterilla siempre un Gran amigo de mi mama pasaba y me dejaba uno. Me levantaba siempre buscandolos. Que de recuerdos. Pertenecen a mi infancia. Casi puedo llorar recordando esos tiempos. OJALA INVENTARAN UNA MAQUINA DEL TIEMPO JAJAJA.     Supe del blog por una revista y decidi visitarlo. Tenia como 10 min riendome hasta que encontre los kalkitos y me vi con ellos en la mano. No recordaba el precio pero no me parecian caros porque en aquella epoca mi papa vendia productos gillete y por eso no tenia que pedirlos…los agarraba y ya! :lol::lol:

    :mrgreen: …. que tal saludos a todos tengo 31 años y recuerdo los kalkitos como algo imprecindible en mi vida mi favorito era el de los dinosaurios ( recuerdo que lo pedì a mi tìa como 4 veces seguidas…, pero en general todos me agradaban. Mi tìa me los traìa cada semana , creo que salìa uno nuevo, el punto es que me he recordado de mi niñez como no tienen idea, recuerdo tambien que esto iba ligado a un album llamado ´´hace millones de años¨y los juguetes armables que venìan dentro de los cereales kelloggs

I�m trying to read your blog on my brand new smartphone although it won�t show correctly (some of the navigation areas are half hidden), any recommendations?
