Me entero que el cantannte Capitán Memo estará dando un concierto en Maracaibo este domingo 13 de Septiembre de 2009 en el marco de la celebración de los World Cyber Games.
Capitán Memo o también conocido como Memo Aguirre es el intérprete y compositor de la gran mayoría de los temas musicales en castellano de las series animadas de los ’80, como: El Festival de los Robots, El Galáctico, El Capitán Futuro, Fábulas del Bosque Verde, el gladiador, Angel la niña de las flores, Candy Candy, La Mujer Araña, He-Man, y al menos 30 más, todas de cuando éramos chamos.
En Cuandoerachamo ya hemos hablado en detalle de Capitan Memo. Este compositor y cantante en los últimos años ha sacado 2 discos con lo mejor de los temas de las comiquitas de los ochentas. También ha dado multitud de conciertos por Latinoamérica. Creo que en esta oportunidad Capitan Memo visitará por primera vez Venezuela.
Por su parte, Los World Cyber Games™ son el torneo de deportes electrónicos y festival cibercultural más grande del mundo, y es por ello que más de 3 millones de jugadores a lo largo y ancho del planeta se registran cada año para competir por la oportunidad de representar a su país en la Gran Final que se celebra cada año desde el 2000. Este año 2009 se eligirán 800 jugadores de todo el mundo para ir a China a la gran Final. Venezuela lleva 6 ediciones mandando gente a este evento. Tenemos un top 20 en Fifa 08 y una medalla de plata de Fifa 2006.
Los World Cyber Games™ Venezuela 2009 regresan este año con 3 juegos oficiales, eliminatorias en 8 ciudades y una Gran Final Nacional con 3 días de duración, DJs, show de luces, Cosplay Studio, 7 torneos adicionales de exhibición, área de exposición con 22 stands de marcas, productos y servicios para el segmento de cibercultura y entretenimiento digital, concursos y premios para el público asistente y la presentación exclusiva y por primera vez en Venezuela del ‘Capitán Memo’, acompañados por las bandas ‘The Mutant Virus’ y ‘Wasakaka-Sushi’.

Yo vi un video de un concierto de el en Chile y me dieron demasiadas ganas de ir, lastima que no estuvo en caracas donde con un poco de promoción su concierto hubiera sido un éxito rotundo…
yo me entere hace un buen rato ya que era el quien cantaba todas esas canciones que, de niño me parecian excelentes y sin duda aun me suenan mejor que antes…indagando fue que youtube me dio la respuesta hace tiempo sobre quien era el interprete, muchos buenos recuerdos…las tardes de pana eran excelentes esperando ver a los robots dandose con todo…
