Quienes se cansaron de ir a la playa durante principios de los ochenta recordarán que los shorts bermuda de moda eran los Sundek. Posiblemente se acuerden mejor de los shorts Sundek como los bermudas que tenÃan dibujado un arcoiris por la parte trasera. Estos shorts junto a los pepers y los OP eran la moda playera en los ochentas.
Estos bermudas fueron creados en Estados Unidos para la práctica del surf y fue en principios de los 80 donde se popularizo el uso a cualquier chamo o chama que querÃa verse a la moda en las playas. Aquà les dejo unas fotos con los modelos según mi memoria que más se usaron en la época

En mi epoca de liceo no llegue a ver esos “chores” pero lo que si flipaba eran las franelas OP. Si querias ser alguien tenias que tener una. Bueno, los varones, porque no recuerdo que hubiesen de damas en aquella epoca. Pero si recuerdo los chores pepper. Y la cancion que decia:

Brother eran lo maximo, yo tuve uno azul y uno verde y me duraron uff varios años, porque eran buenos, hechos de un material super resistente , en una semana santa nos fuimos unos compañeros del liceo a las playas de Pto. la Cruz y le preste el azul a uno de los panas y no me lo devolvio mas nunca, no le hable mas hasta el sol de hoy como dicen….

Yo tuve un par, de los de color negro. Me acuerdo como dicen uds., que todo aquel que se respetara en Catia La Mar, debÃa tener uno. Sobre todo, aquellos muchachos, chamos para ser exacto que eran unos fiebrúos, del surfing.

Miren Sras y Sres., Tengo 40 años y todavÃa tengo mi Short Sundek (Verde), me la pasaba en Playa Verde, Camurà ChÃco, Los Angeles y Los Caracas, esa era la moda y la fiebre, el que lo tenÃa era respetado en la zona porque era un verdugo en el Surf….Ah! cuando quieran les puedo mostrar una foto
La propagandita de los shores pepers de los ochenta era demasiado sugestiva con esas nenas usandolos y montrando sus hermosas pompas. y eso que yo era muy niño, pero cada vez que pasaban el comercial se me salian los ojos. lastima que ese video quizas ya no exista.

En la actualidad se suelen utilizar unos shorts tipo bermuda (los hombres) para ir a la playa u otro cuerpo de agua.
Por su parte las mujeres utilizan unos shorts corticos como vestimenta casual (asà se ven mucho más ricas).
Yo tengo 23 años y los usé muchisimo cuando tenia 12 años, eran mis bermudas preferidas!! dios k tiempos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ME ENCANTAN!!
Un poco atrasado el comentario, pero los shorts sundek se pueden conseguir en Italia sobre todo y cuestan alrededor de 100 euros, y en USA se consiguen por 135 dolares

yo tambien use estas pantalonetas eran lo maximo las use desde los 16 años hasta los 28 años por que ya no mequedaban suvi una talla mas era 28 un par de ños estube en 30 ahora soy talla 32 tengo la costumbre de cuidar las cosas muy bien hasta hora tengo ropa de los 80 y me la pongo de ves en cuando todavia me queda recordemos que la moda siempre vuelve
